Abstract:
Intrusion detection is a surveillance dilemma of rational importance that is well suited to
wireless sensor networks. In this project, we study the functions of sensor networks to the
intrusion detection problem and associated problems of categorizing and tracking object. Our
approach is on the base of solid, scattered, wireless network of poor sensors combined into
freely rational sensor array. The purpose of combining the hardware and software was to
build a machine that is efficient enough to detect the motion through wireless sensor network
in the specified filed and move the gun towards the sensing unit automatically. The gun can
also be controlled with the help of wireless dedicated camera by a person sitting in base unit
receiving live streaming of field. Wireless communication is being used as the range of the
wireless can be increased according to one’s need also it is fast and reliable. This mechanism
can be placed in any terrain and can work efficiently. PIR sensors are used to detect human
detection. If any person is in the range of these sensors the signal is send to microcontroller,
which send this signal through NRF module wirelessly to another microcontroller which is
placed with automatic gun. Then data is processed by this microcontroller and gun
automatically moves towards the targeted sensor and start fairing. In the manual mode the
gun can be manually control by command and control center and the command sent by
control center is communicated through xbee module to move the gun or start firing.
