dc.description.abstract This study carried out with the purpose to analyse the impact of limitations and restrictions in manufacturing process, distribution process, communication process and legal and regulatory processes on drug shortage. In this study, 300 respondents wastaken which include manufacturer, distributor, pharmacists, customers, wholesalers and hospitals in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In this study, we run validity test, reliability test, regression and multiple regression test to check the accuracy among variables. This study suggests that there is need to apply supply chain techniques in this industry to overcome drug shortage and to increase efficiency and effectiveness in services. It suggests that there is need to give supply chain training to employs so they use supply chain theories and models to give efficient services. en_US
