dc.description.abstract Maternal health is a complex phenomenon. Studies state that maternal health and utilization of maternal healthcare are dependent of various factors ranging of economic, social, cultural etc.Maternal health in the rural areas Pakistan is a field that is not being vastly studied due to its sensitivity, although it is something that needs to be studied and worked on. Qualitative data has been gathered using semi structured interviews. This data identifies: Attitude of healthcare workers, Women’s position in the household, Education status of women, and many other factors that affect maternal health and the utilization of maternal healthcare. en_US
