dc.description.abstract Central Indus Basin is very important in petroleum prospective. Sabzal-01 lies in Central Indus Basin. The objective of research is to determine the hydrocarbon potential of Sabzal-01 with the help of petrophyiscal techniques using wireline logs. Different petrophysical parameter, like volume of shale, water saturation, porosity and hydrocarbon saturation are taken into consideration for reservoir characterization. The value of volume of shale in Sui Main Limestone in Sabzal-01 is 20% and hydrocarbon saturation is 30%. It is concluded by petrophysical analysis that Sui Main Limestone is excellent reservoir in Sabzal-01 with low volume of shale having good effective porosity i.e. 10% and average hydrocarbon saturation which is mentioned above en_US
