Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this research to look into the effect and relationship of the working off the
clock encroachment on additional time premium and twofold book record keeping as far as
ethical and social compliance (SC) is concerned both overtime premium not paid and double
book records are basic issues regarding (SC) reviewes. Every one of these issues tended to
are not kidding issues in every one of retailers sets of principles
Methodology & Design
A sample of 40 suppliers (factories SC audit report) of Pakistan was randomly selected
working with foreign buyers. Secondary data were used to verify the findings based on Audit
finding conducted by different third party during the last 2 years of (NOV 2016 TO OCT
2017). There were forty social agreeability review reports of twenty plan which were led
from June 2016 to January 2017 Each of the 40 inspected SC review reports were of diverse
manufacturing plants working in Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan and the labor
Findings
The result and research finding shows that during the most recent two years (NOV 2016 TO
OCT 2017) out of 40 plants review reports 25 factories (62.5%) were found having working
off the clock that causes that additional overtime premium not paid. On the other hand double
book record were not seen in all 40 SC review reports
Practical implications
The findings/results of this research are likely to help the industries management and also the
labors who are working inside the industries in defining the correct laws and rules that
industry management should follows and also protects the working writes of labors who
working inside in industries
