There have been various studies conducted on different perspective of inventory management.
Each study in literature led to one finding or another regarding inventory management.
However, there is limited literature available regarding cross functional coordination in
supply chain. So the main purpose behind this study is to find the cross functional
coordination in supply chain of textile sector Pakistan which would give new perspective to
the inventory management.
Methodology/sample:
The quantitative technique has been employed in the research because the variables involved
in the study are quantitative. The current study uses descriptive analysis method which uses
survey method for data collection. The target population for this research was textile sector of
Pakistan and convenience sampling was used to collect the data because of limited time. The
current study uses a sample size of 115 respondents from the textile sector. The questionnaire
used for survey is based on five point Likert scale. The data collected was analyzed using
SPSS. Alpha reliability, person coefficient and regression analysis were done.
Findings:
The data analysis showed the value of chronbach alpha was more than .7 whereas the Person
correlation was not significant among the variables. The regression analysis
the hypotheses and two hypotheses proved to be wrong according to which top management does affect the inventory management whereas three of

Practical Implications:
The research findings could be applied to the textile sector of Pakistan and improve the
