Abstract:
Purpose
This research shows the dilemma Pakistan facing regarding the shortfall of electricity. This
Power shortage in Pakistan is affecting various sectors of Pakistan’s economy along with the
general public and getting worse day by day. Only 46% of population of Pakistan has the
facility to have complete supply of energy instead government of Pakistan has failed to
provide them steady supply.
Methodology & Design
Primarily mood of data collection is general public, factories heads and Employers of some
selected organizations by means of questionnaire which also deliver them the purpose of
interview. We will get first-hand information by this. Secondly data is also gathered through
secondary means which consists of past researches, journals, internet, books, articles
magazines.
Findings
Load shedding, decline in industry and economy, general public problems, inflation and
corruption are major problems due to electricity shortfall.
Limitations
There would be some extent of subjectivity because of the nature of the topic and financial
data source is scarce.
Recoin mendations
Pakistan’s Govt, should work out a plan for Energy Crises on need basis. Circular Debt must
be governed and should be addressed as it is denting the economy. Alternate energy must be
promoted and use as it will curtail the cost of generating electricity.
