| dc.description.abstract | Job Portals are like a gathering point for both, the job seekers and the recruiters, where each of them aims at meeting their own personal requirements. The job seekers on one hand try to find a job opening to which they can apply as per their knowledge, and gain new skills and enhance the already acquired skills and also to grow as qualified and professional individual. On the other hand, the recruiters, they try to fill in the job vacancy at their organizations with the right type of candidates who has the faultless aptitude and required qualification to cater the job responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Job portals works more like a market place, where there is demand and it is met with the supply. The project aims to develop a platform which will readily provide communication between the students and employers; they can go through the multiple job postings by various organizations and match their skill sets with a particular job of their liking. It will be a platform bringing together the job seekers and the employers and eventually will help in finding the right match for both the students and organizations. The Pro-Getto project will provide a platform for the students which will help them in finding internships relevant to their field of studies and their area of expertise. The basic theme behind this project is to develop an internship management system to facilitate the students in getting internships which will help them in establishing a career path right after the graduation or even during the degree. The system will link the industry to the university students and will help the companies to fill in the vacant spots with the students who possess the right skill to do the required tasks. | en_US |
