dc.description.abstract OGDCL discovered the basal oil field in 1999 is an exclusive Development and Production Lease of Oil and Gas Development Corporation. It lies in Attock district and situated about 77 km Northwest of Islamabad. Basal oil field lies in Basal block bounded bylatitudes 33֯ 15’ to 33֯ 37’ N and longitudes 72֯ to 73֯ 17’E. Main emphasis of this work is the application of 2-D structural analysis based on integrated techniques of seismic and well log analysis in Basal area, Pakistan.Seismic data interpretation has been done by marking reservoir horizons of Chorgali Formation, Sakesar Limestone and Lockhart Formation by using formation tops. Structural interpretation of the area is done after making time and depth contours by picking time and their time to depth conversions en_US
