dc.description.abstract Purpose: The purpose of this research study is to find out the impact of determinants of employee performance in different sectors operating in Karachi. As it is believed that employee performance plays an important role in any organization, so the aim of this research is to identify which determinant contribute in improving the performance of an employee. Also to find out which factor increases employee performance more or less in organizations. Research Methodology: In this research study explanatory research has been followed. Also, this study follows quantitative approach and is primary in nature. In data collection the instrument was used is questionnaire to gather responses from the targeted population. Likert scale is used on the scale of 1,2,3,4 and 5 to calculate the results of the respondents. The population of the study is on Karachi and the target population is from the different sectors. Sampling technique used is non-probability convenience sampling and the sample size for this research work is 384 respondents. In this research the determinants of employee performance organizational climate, commitment, rewards and work motivation that are independent variables and employee performance act as dependent variable. Findings of the Research: The finding of this research reveals that there is an impact of organizational climate, commitment and work motivation on employee performance. However, rewards were found insignificant in relation with employee performance. Practical Implication: The findings of this research will help the organizations to improve the performance of their employees. Also, it provides knowledge about the determinants which have positively contributed towards employee performance. en_US
