Abstract:
Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to identify the impact of HRIS (HR process, Time
saving, Cost saving and Decision making) on Efficiency of organization.
Methodology & Design: This research has been conducted on the basis of quantitative
analysis to study the impact of HRIS on efficiency of organization. The data was collected
through structured Questionnaire which was distributed among the sample size of 350
employees. Out of which only 306 responded. Questionnaires were filled by managers and
employees of each level. In order to analyze the data, statistical techniques were used including
Cronbach’s Alpha test for checking reliability of primary collected data & Multiple Regression
Analysis test for testing the hypothesis constructed for this research with the help of using
SPSS software version 22.0.
Findings: The reliability of data was measured by applying Cronbach’s Alpha test and it was
found that the primary collected data was reliable to conduct further analysis. Regression
analysis test was applied to test the hypothesis and the results of coefficient table revealed that
HRIS (HR process, Time saving, Cost saving and Decision making) have positive and
significant impact on Efficiency of organization. Therefore all alternate hypothesis of this
research are being accepted & null hypothesis are rejected.
Limitations: The foremost limitation of this study is scared resources. Only few companies
could be targeted. .The data was gathered from limited number of people. The research is
confined only to the companies of Karachi.
