Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to find out entrepreneurial intention of fresh business graduates
and final year business students. This research aims to find out factors which significantly
impact entrepreneurial choices of business students.
Methodology & Design
The study was conducted based on quantitative data which was collected through
questionnaire by taking response from 384 final year business students and fresh business
graduates of Karachi. The study focuses on four independent variables which include risk
taking, self-efficacy, personal achievement and financial factors and their impact on the
dependent variable entrepreneurship of business students. With help of SPSS tools data was
analyzed through regression test and Pearson correlation.
Findings
The results obtained through SPSS with regression and correlation test shows that there is a
positive correlation between risk taking ability of graduates, self-efficacy of graduates,
personal achievement of graduates, financial factors and entrepreneurship. All these factors
influence perspective of business graduates when they have to take a step in their profession.Limitations
This study limited to Karachi only
finding. Therefore a similar research must be done
whole country.
Recommendations
Universities and government must take steps to promote and young generation through educational platfomt. These efforts will be resulted
increase in employment opportunities and economic growth of society.
