dc.description.abstract The aim of the study is to investigate the impact of personality traits (innovativeness, need for achievement, entrepreneurial alertness and locus of control) on entrepreneurial intentions among students of private universities. To conduct the study, sample size of 384 male and female students of private universities were mailed the survey forms. In order to test the collected data empirically, regression and correlation analysis was done. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between innovativeness, need for achievement and entrepreneurial intentions. The non-significant relationship exists between entrepreneurial alertness, locus of control and entrepreneurial intention. The results emphasize the importance of taking a more holistic approach in future when researching the factors that influence entrepreneurial intention. en_US
