Purpose
The purpose of this study is to determine whether employee empowerment factors such as meaningfulness, self-determination, impact and competency affect the employee motivation I
Methodology & Design
The research is explanatory which has cause and effect relationship between variables on the
basis of quantitative nature. In order to develop thehypothesis, prior researches or relevant
literature were studied keenly. The questionnaire was created and utilizes to identify the level
of the affiliation between the factors/variables. The sample size comprises of 159
respondents. For the investigation of the collected data, Reliability test, Validity test and
Regression assessment was functionalize

Findings
The outcome evidence suggest that the meaningfulness and self-determination have
significance impact on employee motivation whereas empowerment nad competency does
not have significance impact on employee motivation. The overall model demonstrates the
significance value of 0.000 that the all independent variables were measured useful.
Limitations
The study is limited because only target respondents will examine for data collection from
the Managers of different functional departments of MCB Bank ltd located in Karachi; it may
affect the dimensions of empowerment because the results may not generalize to tasks and
jobs that might constitutionally complex or simple.
Recommendations
This research suggests several preferable variables which could be tested in future research.
Recommendations for this research which should be implemented in future is that
Management of MCB Bank should work on Employee’s Competency to increase their
personal and professional skills and abilities along with self-confidence to perform their work
effectively.
