dc.description.abstract | Purpose The purpose of this research is to study the impact of determinants of employee engagement on employee performance. Methodology & Design Causal research was done to study the impact of relationships. A survey questionnaire was developed. Simple random sampling was used to gather the data from employees of lower managerial level and middle managerial level from small scale organization. The data was collected from 148 respondents. Regression and co-relation were used to predict and estimate the relationships. Findings It was found that all the factors identified were predictors of employee engagement. The variable such as working environment (r square = 0.223), leadership (R square=0.275), and teamwork and peer support (r square=0.194) has a significant impact on employee engagement. Moreover, employee engagement has no significant impact on employee performance (R square= 0.008) Limitations In this research few organizations are considered for the collection of data from employee. Moreover, the data was conducted from the middle and lower managerial level and operative workers were not studied. Recommendations The manager should involve the employee in decision making to increase their level of engagement. Moreover, there should be HR policies made by the organization to increase motivation and engagement. | en_US |
