Abstract:
This research study has performed with an objective to understand the scope of safety
attitude among employee and possible factors of its determination to investigate its relative
influence. This study also tried to explain the influence of safety behavior of employees on
construction sites. This study also provided an interaction to understand the scope of safety
climate in construction industry in Pakistan with an interaction to employees within the
industry. This research study used primary research approach with the selection of construction industry that was thedescriptive research approach. This study focused targeted population of current study with a sampling of respondents that is convenience in
nature. The sample size of current study is around 384 in number. This study used graphical
and correlation analysis to investigate primary collected responses. The results of study
revealed that safety management system and procedures, management commitment,
workmate influence and employee involvement in determination of safety attitude of
on
employees positively in construction sector of Pakistan. It has also found through this study
that there is relatively higher influence of safety management system and procedures,
workmate influence and employee involvement in determination of employee with
coefficient value of 0.191, 0.220 and 0.188 respectively. This study clearly explained the in determination of safety attitude of employees inimportance of three basic requirements construction sector in Pakistan. This reflected positive contribution of this study in
determination of key factors in determination of safety attitude among employees.
