Abstract:
Purpose: This study is focused on evaluating the impact of training & development
employee performance in the hotel industry of Karachi. The employee is the key resource of
the organization. By the employee performance, the organization will achieve. Training and
development are the only of the most vital tool of HRM to increase employee efficiency
creativity and productivity.

Methodology / Sample: The purpose of this study is descriptive which is based on
quantitative data collected through a standardized questionnaire and study analysis the three
hypotheses by using the collected data. Data was collected from 270 employees (male and
female) from multiple departments of Hotel industry at Karachi. The data was evaluated or
analyzed by Pearson’s correlation and regression analysis and check the reliability with the
help of SPSS software.
Findings: The finding of this study proves that: there is a significant positive relationship
between training and development, employee performance, job satisfaction at hotel industry.
The study recommends that organization have to align the training program to their employee
with the help of training need analysis on the regular base and develop their skills.
Implications of the study: This study is relatively helpful for the management of Hotel
industry at Karachi. The hotel industry and other organization will find out the relative
influence of the variance training and development on employee performance and take the
corrective measurement for betterment.
Other academia and organizations can also take benefit from this study.
