| dc.description.abstract | The present research study examined the factors that affect implementation of effective eprocurement in a cement companies based in Islamabad. The study put forward four objectives: to determine the e-procurement implementation value in the industry, to determine the affiliation amid competency of employees and effective e-procurement implementation, to determine the affiliation amid information technology infrastructure and effective e-procurement implementation and lastly, to determine the affiliation amid supplier capacity and effective e-procurement implementation. The study adopted hypothesis testing design to establish on the factors of the study. A sample of 113 respondents from cement companies of Islamabad is collected. Various statistical tools were applied on collected data including frequency distribution, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Results of the study holistically revealed that all the three identified factors, i.e. employee skills, supplier competency/ capability, and information technology infrastructure used in research study significantly and positively influence the implementation of effective e-procurement system in the cement industry of Pakistan. | en_US |
