dc.description.abstract The petrophysical study of Garhi X-01 well has been carried out in order to determine the reservoir zones. The well is located in the Potowar sub-basin, Upper Indus Basin, Pakistan. Wireline log data of the well have been used for the petrophysical study. On the basis of log curve character, zone of interest have been marked and the reservoir potential of well was determined. The zone contains very low values of effective porosity 2%. The low porosity of the formation was further confirmed by the outcrop analysis of the reservoir formation and the thin sections were used to find the environment of deposition and age of the reservoir formation i.e. Lockhart Formation. en_US
