Impact of supply chain agility on the performance of Beverages industry of twin cities Islamabad/Rawalpindi

Abstract

The aim of this study is to do analysis of the impact of supply chain agility on the performance of beverage industries working in the twin cities of Pakistan Islamabad/Rawalpindi. The beverage industry plays a significant role in the expansion of the opportunities in an economy because it is universal to the health and a life of peoples because there are many organizations that are working within this industry for the purpose. Nevertheless, the beverage industries in the twin cities are facing a tuff competition and the graph of their performance is coming down day by day as the global brands of same industries are now bringing their business in Pakistan and in the twin cities they are running successfully. Different statistics were applied on the data collected from the questionnaires to examine the impact of supply chain agility on the performance of the beverage industries that are working in the twin cities. The study indicates that the supply chain agility has a positive and a strong impact on the performance of the beverage industries of twin cities because the industries working here have successfully implemented the concept of agility in their systems as they are very keen to create value for their customers. The study concluded that the performance of the beverage industries working in twin cities can enhance their performance if they successfully implement the concept of the agility in their network. The study recommended that the beverage industries should take radical steps to frame their policies in such a way that they could handle complaints and cater the requirements of their customers.
