dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this research work is to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of the Miano area with the help of 2D seismic interpretation and petrophysical analysis. In seismic interpretation, five migrated seismic lines were obtained out of which four are dip lines and one is strike line. Faults and horizons were marked and time and depth contours were generated of Sui Main Limestone, Ranikot Formation and Lower Goru Formation. Series of horst and graben structures are interpreted. In Petrophysical analysis, two zones were marked which shows good hydrocarbon prospect at the level of Lower Goru Formation, having effective porosity of 15.42% in zone 1 and 15.08% in zone 2, whereas the saturation of hydrocarbon for zone 1 is 53.35% and for zone 2 is 71.02%. en_US
