| dc.description.abstract | This thesis highlights work done on Gulyana area in the village Missa Keswal and involves the seismic interpretation of the subsurface geology. The study is fortified using petrophysical analysis of Missa Keswal-03 well. It starts with getting the data from LMKR. The data includes one strike line i.e. 994-GNA-12, and four dip lines 994-GNA- 09, 994-GNA-13, 994-GNA-14, 994-GNA-15. The data also includes seven well logs. The logs thus used were GR log, resistivity log, density log, neutron log and sonic log. The work started from marking the horizons on respected seismic lines, followed by all the seismic interpretation work that was done manually. Afterwards petrophysical analysis was done for determination of quantities like average porosity, effective porosity, saturation of hydrocarbons etc. the work concludes itself by reserve estimation by volumetric method. It shows the hydrocarbon in place for our zone of interest. | en_US |
