dc.description.abstract This paper presents the simulation of various high frequency filters including single and double loop feedback controller based LCL filters, Zero phase filter, Savitzky-Golay filter and cascaded low-pass IIR filters utilized for power regulation from the smart grid. Power output from renewable sources comprises of DC power output. Such power needs power electronics converters to transform the output from various renewable sources of energy into alternating (AC) power having fixed frequency e.g. 50/60 Hz, so that the power can be consumed at utility level. Such conversion should not surpass the total harmonic distortion (THD) permissible limit. In order to filter out THD from such systems, various filters have been implemented in LabVIEW to compare the results. en_US
