dc.description.abstract As the world is progressing in terms of technology day by day, it is initiating towards energy efficient technologies. Without any doubt, electrical energy is very essential in today’s modern world for everyday life and a spine for the industry. With the increase in the need of electricity power theft is also increasing which is unfavourably affecting the industries and the power sector. Detecting and eliminating this crime is the crying need at this time. In order to handle our energy and avoid the penalty caused by energy wastage and power theft we need to build up powerful tools to get rid of problems like real time power monitoring and power theft. Regarding this view this project is formulated and designed. In this paper, we discuss a system, “Energy And Fuel Monitoring And Control System” developed to assist in well organized, structured and cost efficient management of power of the main grid and generators. The objective of proposed system is to give an innovation arranged, minimal effort, effectively versatile solution of the problems that are faced in industries. This project is a potent tool to prevent power theft. Along with this, this project is a solution for power management problems faced in an industry. The system monitors real time data and emphasizes upon the detection of power failure and takes spontaneous action to counter this problem. Power failure is detected by a relay that communicates with Arduino mega 2560 via wifi module esp8266 to switch loads from main supply to generator automatically. Parameters like voltage, current, real and apparent power of main supply and generator monitored in real time using a website. en_US
