| dc.description.abstract | Disasters always bring together a situation where we need different organizations who managed the huge amount of data, in the form of information i.e. stats produced by the disaster. Absence of effective information and communication produces a lack of cooperation and coordination amongst all these organizations, as a result ineffective or delayed response occurs. ERS try to provide a mechanisms for effective response in case of any disaster or emergency situation. ERS is a simple Web based system that support various activities associated with rescue and relief operations during a disaster or emergency situation. This system wills particularly help disaster management authorities’ i.e. NGOs, government agencies and concerned agencies for collaboration, information sharing, resource management, team formation for effectively support the relief and rescue operations in a particular emergency situation. Scope of this project is limited to rescue and relief operation only. | en_US |
