dc.description.abstract Development in the field ofmobile technology and other things creates mobile content on high level like pictures. videos. data and at the same time. it can be utilized. To use content effectively and efficiently new technology appeared called Content Centric Networking (CCN). This research work is based on route optimization in CCN ro provide quick service and 10\\ latency. CCN was designed to eliminate end dependencies of IP addresses. In CCN. routing is based on names instead of IP. When a user needs contents. it will send Interest Packet to CCN router. CCN router find the content and use reverse path to send content to consumer in the form of Data Packets. CCN support consumer mobility by consumer re-requesr for data but producer mobility still under research because to locate producer is tough sometimes. When an active session starts between consumer and producer and suddenly producer move from one CCN router to another. Different techniques are used to locate the producer like data replication, proxy-based scheme and tunnel-based routing but these solutions have some issues. We designed a new model to solve this issue called Route Optimization in CCN. In Route Optimization model a cluster head (CH) has all the updated information about its neighboring nodes. When a device moves from one content router CR to another CR, the router will send packet information to cluster head to update the routes. Through Route Optimization model we will decrease the number of interest packets. en_US
