Abstract:
With the growing needs of competitive markets the business are evolving and so are their supply chains and related strategies. This paper researches quantitatively about supply chain effectiveness. Factor like trust, communication and technology advancement are used in the study to explore their effect on supplier manufacturer partnership and on supply chain effectiveness. This study finds that partnerships are built when the suppliers and manufacturer are willing to communicate complete information and trust each other. The paper highlights an indication that firms can work on their supplier-manufacturer partnerships. When these partnerships are built with mutual understandings and productivity of both parties is focused, they effect on the effectiveness of the supply chains. Good communications, mutual trust significantly affect supplier manufacturer partnership and supply chain effectiveness whereas keeping in view the developing industry of Pakistan technology advancements do not play a significant role. A good partnership among manufacturers and suppliers significantly affect the effectiveness of supply chain.
