dc.description.abstract The world has been familiar with different forms of capital such as economic capital, social and cultural capital. However, spiritual capital is an emerging term in the development discourse. The concept of spiritual capital is operationalized in terms of virtues. The study aims at highlighting the significance of spirituality in the decision-making process leading to attainment of success in the lives of most of the people. The study emphasizes on developing deeper insights on the concept of spiritual capital through presenting the spiritual dimensions of the lives of the respondents. For most of the people, spirituality is one of the major driving forces in their success. The study provides with a new dimension to development through focusing on the spiritual elements of the human capability and through “capitalizing” spirituality or the virtues that exist in all societies. en_US
