dc.description.abstract The role of organizational innovation in increasing the organizational performance has recently gained attention in research and practice. A number of studies on management information system and the relationship it have with organizational performance have been conducted. In management literature, organizational innovation has rarely been studied as a mediator. This research examines the relationship between multiple dimensions of organizational innovation, management information system and organizational performance. In addition, it decreases the gap between traditional and innovative practices results in improved infrastructure. Different data analysis methods were practiced to test the hypothesis and to test the validity of organizational innovation as a mediator. Findings indicate that a positive and significant relationship exists between organizational innovation, information systems and organizational performance. Also as a mediator, organizational innovation strengthens the bond. en_US
