Abstract:
This final year project report contains information about occupancy detection through Wi- Fi. This report contains the information about the introduction, literature review, important aspects, and specification of the project. Then along with the signal strengths and the discussion of the KNN theory and its significance; information regarding the technical details and work which has been done throughout the entire project is recorded in this report. We are mainly using the signal strengths of the access points to determine the location of a person or an occupant indoors, who is carrying a smart device with them. We have built an Android application which will relay the location data to the data base, which can then be accessed by the admin.
