| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays most of our technology is shifted on the robots or another kind of machines. About 45% population all over the world depended on the machines. We purpose an idea name as “restaurant automation using waiter robot” is for classical restaurants where the most of the people have to face a lot of problems due to unavailability of waiters to collect their desire food items. Mostly older persons who cannot wait in front on counter for their collection of desire order. So we purpose a idea of restaurant automation using waiter robot. This concept is also gives the benefits to the restaurant owners that they do not need to pay salary to the waiters, no accommodation, no medical allowances. Our robot is based on line following concept using arduino atmega328,IIR sensors used to detect the obstacles as well as detect the direction of robot on the line. The mechanism of IIR sensors is that if all the sensors “ON” then robot will stop for specific time depending on the user time like 20 seconds or more otherwise it will move continues on the track. A LCD is placed on front of the robot where the menu bar is display as well as a keypad is also attach for input order the desire food items and a tray is used to serve the order | en_US |
