dc.description.abstract An EEG-based home automation system for paralyzed persons is proposed in this report. The EEG innovation can be utilized by incapacitated individuals to enhance their autonomy and amplify their capacities at home. Our project is based on Electroencephalography (EEG) signal. The object is to allow the paralyzed people to use their brain signals to control basic room appliance such as fan, light etc. EEG is the measurement of electrical activity in different parts of the brain. It is the technique in which electrodes are attached on the scalp of the head. Electroencephalography (EEG) based home automation is for smart home which allows direct communication between your brain and home appliance. For achieving this target 1st we have to retrieve mind signal using EEG headset. Then this signal is analyzed and trained on the person by using microcontroller Arduino. There are two main phases for system to be in execution state. in the first phase which is machine training phase the first task is to obtain a value from patient for specific task using EEG headset and check the value on microcontroller. The second step is which is execution phase the value coming from brain of the patient will be checked in a loop where the value is matched with a prestored value which was obtained in first phase the task against that value will be executed. EEG headset recognizes and records neuronal electrical exercises that mirror client's goal from various areas on the scalp. Those exercises are then sent to the microconroller to separate flag highlights. Those highlights are then made an interpretation of into charges to work all machines at home. The proposed framework has been actualized, developed, and tried. Test comes about exhibits the attainability of our proposed EEG framework in controlling home machines in view of the client's physiological states. The framework makes an interpretation of thought vigorously without utilizing muscles through various terminals connected to the client's scalp. The EEG innovation can be utilized by impaired individuals to enhance their autonomy and augment their capacities at home. These highlights are made an interpretation of into charges to work all machines at home. The proposed framework has been actualized, developed, and tried. en_US
