| dc.description.abstract | This project presents the design and development of the RFID Based Room Automation using microcontroller with NODE MCV ESP8266 WIFI Module. This project is representing the concept of automated door access system, automated room light controller and automating rent system by using Blynk App and store data in MySQL database. The idea of access control is brought by using a card, a corresponding card reader and a control panel. The card is a proximity card with a unique identification number integrated in it. The system also helps to provide automatic billing system of the applicant. The system sends data of the applicant to the server and saved to MYSQL database. The RFID tag is a proximity sensor with a unique identification number integrated in it .The reader reads the data and send it to the control system, the controller checks whether the applicant is allowed to enter into the room or not. If the applicant is authentic then he /she is allowed access otherwise he will be denied. The NODEMCV ESP 8266 Wi-Fi module send data and other information of the applicant to the server and saved it in the MYSQL database automatically. For the automatic room light control, an Arduino is used, which acts as a controller in the system and take information from the RFID reader connected to it. When a tag is placed in tag holder in the range of RFID card reader then the reader automatically read and collect data of the tag and send to the Arduino UNO which will turn ON all lights of the room. If the tag is drawn from the tag holder then Arduino will turn off all lights of the room. Blynk App is used by hotel manager to start the rent of a person and calculate the rent of the person as well as used to open the door if someone lost authorized tag. Data is directly stored in MySQL database. | en_US |
