dc.description.abstract | Smart Energy Monitor is an loT based project. It monitors the consumption of electricity 24/7 and display it on application/software where user can easily get access to its utilization. It provides user to view energy consumption in different patterns according to user desirerIt's not time bound system but user can see the record of its energy consumption from day of using the system to the present day. The smart system will notify user in real time for the use of heavy electric appliances in peak hours which adds a lot to the total cost of electricity bilL By the end month the system will estimate the amount of electricity bill for the user and also displaying the impact of user action where taken and where not taken according to smart agent assistance. Amount of units consumed in a month can be seen in graphical as well as numeric form by the end of month depending on the way user wants to view. Smart Energy Monitor helps user to reduce the cost of electricity bill which is a great problem for a common man in this era of inflation in Pakistan. The system can contribute to user in determining that how much bill can be reduced using smart monitoring system and reminding him/her time to time to turn offheavy appliances in peak hours. | en_US |
