| dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted to explore the educational issues that affect the studentslearning outcomes at higher secondary schools in Quetta. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of transactional leadership and transformational leadership on employee job satisfaction with the moderating effect of empowerment and promotion of education and uplifting the standards of educational institutions, and to suggest ways and means for ensuringexcellent performance of the teachers at higher secondary School which is a fundamental objective in education. By followingthis path, the society would be able to produce a constructive individual. Oneimportant aspect of effective education is to develop intellectualcapability of the teachers through development of critical thinking ability; on theother hand physical development has the same importance for a balanced personalityof the teachers, along with the educational activities. All the principals, vice principals, and teachers of the higher secondary schools of Quetta constituted the population of the study whereby 33 higher secondary schools out of 72 were randomly selected for data collection. Throughconvenience sampling technique, from every sampled school an administrativeprincipal or vice principal, teacher were requested to fill in the provided questionnaires bysharing their experience. The population of teachers is 472and sample size analyzed was 192 where as eachquestionnaire was comprised of 24 questions with five possible options. Thequestionnaire was designed and administered personally after conducting pilot studyin consultation with the researchers and educational experts. The survey andinterview was also conducted as research instrument for data collection. The datacollected was analyzed statically and tabulated in numbers and percentage. FirstCronbach’s Alpha test is used in order to find out the internal consistency of the data, and the result of the test suggested that the data is highly reliable and can be used for further analysis. Then correlation and multiple regression analysis have performed for the purpose of analysis. The results correlation analysis explains that all independent variables are significantly related to each other. The results of multiple regression explained that transactional leadership and transformational leadership have significant positive impact on employees’ job satisfaction. The results also explain that the moderating variable empowerment strengthens the impact of transformational and transactional leadership on employee job satisfaction. | en_US |
