dc.description.abstract | Student Assessment system helps to engage students and improve quality of education. This is a fastest and easiest way of analyzing the performance of students / audience. It is a system through which group participation is promoted through brain storming, lectures and quizzes. Student Assessment system consists of voti ng pads, one receiver and assessment software. In an interactive classroom environment, teacher can ask the questions or take the quiz and then student replies back their answers through pads. The assessment system catches student's response through the receivers and then generate the report of overall class assessment, individual's result and also shows the assessment in the form of graph. Our system consists of two components one is web based where admin can register classes, courses, teachers and students can assign classes, courses and pads to the student whereas teacher can create quizzes and view results and the other component is Client-Server application where the teacher can 1:1k(' quizzes from the students and generate results. For a teacher trying to conduct a quiz can be challenging to collect them and time consuming to count with accuracy. Our system can remove this problem easily by assessing the students with the help of voting pads. Collecting the answers from the students electronically means that you won't need to sit and check the manually. Our system can increase the overall class performance by engaging them towards interactive lectures. By the usage of our student assessment system a teacher can take the quiz on the system by collecting answers from the students through voting pads and can calculate the results quickly and easily and saves the time as II ell. | en_US |
