Abstract:
The role of transformational leadership and organizational support in achieving employee’s
creativity has gained much attention in research and practice. However, previous studies did not
indicate any influence of transformational leadership over employees’ creativity when they have
organizational support in Pakistan telecommunication sector. This study considered
organizational support and four dimensions of transformational leadership include idealized
influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration and it was
found that the combined effect of these dimensions influences employee’s creativity. The sample
size of the study was 260. In this quantitative research survey was designed to gather data from
respondents. Transformational leadership theory and organizational support theory is well
supported by this study. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The results gained by conducting
this study confirm the findings of earlier studies which illustrate the significant relationship
among transformational leadership, organizational support and employee’s creativity. Findings
of this study provide avers for leadership practice, especially both for leaders and their followers
to interact with each other.
