Android application for emergency reporting (police and ambulance) (safureme)

Abstract

Nowaday's smartphones have become the most widely used gauges for every age group. Smartphone is easily accessible for everyone. People who are illiterate can also use the smart phone. In Pakistan rate of emergency is increasing day by day, which can be in any form e.g. Crime, snatching, robberies, accidents, sewer medical emergencies, and the major fact is that there is no automated solution for the reporting and responding of these emergencies which leads to a devastating rate of unattended emergencies. In this project we are making an android application which will be platform for everyone to report an emergency and get responded within no time. This is because all the system will be automated and will be monitored on top level at the back end. This is an application which will be easy to use that even an illiterate can use this application easily. As in Pakistan there are two most common languages 1. Urdu 2. English. So we are focusing on our application to be in both languages.
