dc.description.abstract Cricket is one of the most popular sports around the globe. The viewers are concerned about each and every ball of the game, which leads them to predict the upcoming balls and over of the match. The prediction of result makes the game interesting and bounds the viewer to watch the match till the end, as every ball of the match is significant for the game so we have decided to make a desktop application for windows which will be able to predict the result. There is one application used by International Cricket Council (ICC) to predict results but their dataset and methodology is private and public does not have access to it. This application will be different from that and will be available to general public. For prediction the user will enter the data to our system and in return the system will predict the result. The methodology that we will use is that the user will give input to the system about the current situation of the match e.g. how many over have been bowled, what is the decision of the toss etc. The system will apply Random Forest algorithm on the data and it will give result to the user. The technologies that we have used in this project are Weka version 3.8 and Java on Eclipse Luna version 4.4. The hardware requirement of the system is that it should have Windows operating system en_US
