dc.description.abstract In today’s era the ambulance systems are still using outdated technology and are therefore facing many challenges. The service centers are using conventional methods like radio to communicate with the ambulances. These centers also cannot collect real time information about ambulances. The process of dispatching ambulances is time consuming and delay in the dispatching of ambulances is a major problem for ambulance service providers. Integrated ambulance system is designed to revolutionize the emergency medical services provision. The main aim of this project is to use different technologies in the most optimum manner to provide an efficient mechanism for dispatching the ambulance to the emergency locations and transportation of a patient to the nearest health care unit. With Integrated ambulance system the dispatching and monitoring of the ambulances is now possible replacing the currently used conventional methods. The control room operator can now quickly and easily identify patients location, the nearest available ambulance and assign the task to the ambulance automatically. This has reduce the overall time spent is task assignment to great extent. For the ambulance drivers, they do not need to contact the patient again and again in order to identify their location; a map with route guidance is now present so that the driver can get to the emergency location as quickly as possible. en_US
