Abstract:
Introduction: The supply chain management helps in contributing the necessary efforts in
developing & running the entire function of moving goods from supplier to customer smoothly. It
covers logistics and information system in order to improve coordination and cooperation in the
activities. The organizations are focusing on the integration of supply chain management activities
as well as bringing improvement in these activities.
Objectives: The objectives of this research is to study the supply chain management concept and
identify their linkages and the role on the business performance and to understand how the Supply
chain integration, supply chain coordination, supply chain development, and information sharing
affects the business performance
Methodology: This research is exploratory in nature in which the quantitative research
methodology is adopted to explore the identified variables with respect to their performance on
business. The sample size of 661 responded is finalized which is
population. The data is analysed through descriptive statistics (frequency and mean) and also by
inferential statistics (correlation and regression).
Results: There is a strong relation of supply chain integration and coordination
performance. For the supply chain development there is a weak relation with the business
performance. However, there is a significant room for improvement for the supply chain
information sharing among the industries and business partners.
