Abstract:
The objective of the thesis work is to portraying the true subsurface structures with the help of 2-D reflection data and depicting the subsurface lithographic unit, along with
Petrophysical study to delineate the characteristics of reservoir. Makran Basin forms a zone between Indian plate on the east and Afro-Arabian on west, where collision of these continental masses with Eurasia took place. It represents accretionary sediment pile On regional scale view Makran is a great festoon of folded and faulted tertiary sediments extending 800Km from the Las Bela axial fold belt on the east to the Oman . Seismic data was acquired from Land Mark Resources (LMKR) for interpretation. Four un-migrated seismic lines were used along with well logs of Pasni-01 well. Time is picked on the prominent reflectors; velocity windows are solved and then calculated the depth by using formula.
