Online TV Shows Rating

Abstract

This report presents an overview of android application developed for the persons who are busy and cannot watch the audience favorite TV shows during the day. These shows repeat on specific channel at specific time but person don't remember the time and of course he/she doesn't know that either which one of the show is audience favorite. So our main aim is to help these kind of people who wants to see the latest audience favorite talk shows at the end of their day without any problem of finding either which one is favorite or not and what happened during the whole day. On the other perspective, this application also shrink the cost of acquiring the frequency monitor for recording the frequency of that explicit TV channel. The application is going to be used where you have an access to the Internet. Having a good internet speed is the very imperative factor for this application to work accurately because it will fetch data from several site. It works by fetching the comments of that days post and performing sentiment analysis to degree the TV shows and display you thelist of TV shows on the android application. This application would be done using the concept of Web Crawling, Sentiment Analysis and it would be Android based application using Java language. The tool for developing the Android Application is Android Studio.
