dc.description.abstract The purpose of the study was to find the relationship between obesity and subjective well-being. It was hypothesized that there would be a significant difference in subjective well being of obese and non-obese males and females. A sample of 160 people 80 obese (40 males and 40 females) and 80 non obese (40 males and 40 females) were selected via convenient sampling. The participant’s age ranges were between 18 to 30 years, grade two obesity. Sub measured using Positive and Negative Affect Schedule Short-Form subjective wellbeing was (Thompson) and The satisfaction with Life Scale Inventory by Pavot, W., & Diener, E. The results were analysed using Independent t-test. The results revealed that there is a significant difference between subjective well-being of obese and non-obese people. (Mean; PA=29.71,NA=26.94 & LS=20.28) and Non-Obese (Mean; PA=31.56,NA-26.43 & LS-23.23). en_US
