dc.description.abstract Robot automation is a vastly spreading field that covers almost all sectors of human life leading to development and innovation in students and professionals to display their technical ideas, aptitude, competence and experiences. The assistive robotic arm offers assistive services. Assistive Robotic Arm is an adaptable multi-functional device constructed to move substance, parts, equipment, significant devices and Machine Learning provides it with self-controlling expertise by application of variable programmed motions for multiple pre-determined tasks. The Learning algorithms established on the theory of Assistive Robotic Arm is followed by Vision using ROS as its operating system applied on an extensively available off the rack an inexpensive robot assembled with the objective of attaining cost-effective assistance from the robot which is approachable to all the educational, compiler and research institutions to examine into the robotics field. The identification of certain objects within their confined workspace established on their color and shape by the robotic arm enables it to move towards them even picks them up and then places them on to a definite position. This arm is close enough to execute and intensify the extreme results of accomplishing humanly tasks by a machine. One of the finest disciplines that inspire researchers and devoted individuals to compete and learn from one another’s practices in Domestic and Service Robots has emerged as Robotics. An Assistive Robotic Arm does not provide fixed services but they can be advanced by applying self-created algorithms. Therefore, Assistive Robotic Arm constantly stays in the developing phase since the technological improvisations by researchers added up to the advancement in robots. en_US
