| dc.description.abstract | We as a team observe that, pharmaceutical industry of Pakistan is currently the most potential market of Pakistan, especially its retailing side, but we find a gap in this industry specifically in Pakistan that is the missing element of automation, so we opt for automation of retail pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the process of checking the batch numbers of medicines. Batch number is a unique number given to each pack of medicine after inspection by health department of Pakistan, so when a pharmacist receives medicines from a supplier he needs to make sure that all the packs have the same batch number which are mentioned on invoice he received, so if he receives 100 packs, it will be much time consuming process to check all the batch numbers manually plus chance of mistake is also there, and a single mistake will result in a great suffering for both the pharmacist and pharmacy because if Drug inspector on his visit to some pharmacy finds some medicines without batch warranties invoice, he has the right to punish you in monetary terms or in shape of imprisonment, so we decide to solve this immediate need | en_US |
