| dc.description.abstract | Organizational commitment and employee performance are regarded as factors that have a great potential to facilitate growth. The study aimed to establish the relationship between three dimensions of organizational commitment (Normative commitment, Affective commitment and Organizational commitment) and performance in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan. Specifically the study was guided by the following objectives: to determine the impact of affective commitment, normative commitment and continuance commitment on employee performance in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan, to propose future recommendations for practitioners to enhance employee performance in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan. The study adopted explanatory research design using quantitative approach. Data was collected from 250 employees working in the telecommunication sector of Pakistan using non-probability random sampling technique. The study found out that normative commitment, continuance commitment and affective commitment respond positively to employee engagement. Based on the research findings it can be concluded that all three dimensions of organizational commitment (affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment) are positive significant indicators of employee performance.
