Abstract:
The present study aims at studying the significant difference in parenting styles of satisfied married individuals and dissatisfied married individuals. For this puipose, the sample of 25 married males and 25 married females with children limited to the eldest child not more than 15 years of age were selected. Data was collected through informed consent form, demographic form, Parenting Style Questionnaire (Robin, Mandleco, Olsen & Hart, 1995) and ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale (Fowers & Olson, 1993). Statistical analysis showed no significant difference in the parenting styles of satisfied and dissatisfied married individuals. Also, limitations and recommendations of the research study were included.
