dc.description.abstract The research aimed to explore the relationship between anxiety and superstitious beliefs. 80 participants in the age range of 20 to 40 years were selected from which 40 were females and 40 were males. Anxiety was measured through Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) and superstitious beliefs were marked through the scale made by the researchers which is according to the culture. Convenience sampling was used to select the participants. Pearson correlation shows there is a significant relationship (.044) between anxiety and superstitions beliefs. However it also shows significant relationship between male (.044) and not in females (.124). The present study shows that individuals who have anxiety use different superstitious beliefs to cope with the anxiety. en_US
