dc.description.abstract The present research aimed to compare parenting of Single-Parent & both parents of adults. It was hypothesized that a) there would be a significant difference between parent attitudes and beliefs of adults with single parents and both parents b) there would be a significant difference between parent observations of child behavior of adults with single parents and both parents c) there would be a significant difference between parent behaviors of adults with single parents and both parents. There were 50 married participants age ranges from 19-40 years, divided into two equal groups. One group consists of adults who had single-parent in their adolescent life and other group consists of adults who have both parents in their adolescent life. Active parenting now questionnaire (Popkin, 1987) was used. Findings of present study showed the significant differences (p<0.05) between parent attitudes and beliefs of adults with single-parent and both parents and no significant difference between observations of child behavior and parent behaviors of adults with single-parents and both parents en_US
